A comprehensive examination will most likely be performed the first time you visit. Even if you have had regular care under another dentist, we want to become familiar with your health. This will allow us to notice changes or problems more easily during future visits. We also usually clean your teeth, do an examination and sometimes take X-rays. Then we will check the X-rays and your teeth for signs of decay, check your gums for changes, and check for signs of oral cancer or other diseases.
Another important part of every visit is updating your medical history. We will want to know if you’ve had any changes in your health or your medicines and obtain an overall picture of your health.
If you would like to make an appointment, please contact our office by phone or email. Our office facilitates communications and emergency calls and appointments are available and welcome, especially for new patients seeking help.
